FSI Family Day
On Tuesday July 14th Financial Symmetry invited children and spouses to join us for a Family Day celebration.

The event allowed children of Financial Symmetry staffers to visit where their parents work while also learning a little bit about money management.

Each child received their very own Moon Jar, a bank designed to introduce the concepts of spending, saving and sharing money. They were encouraged to put coins in each section and talk about what they like to use money for.

Our interns Bailey Wood and Morgan Martin helped out as photographers and story tellers, sharing the Berenstain Bears Books “Trouble with Money” and “Dollars and Sense.” After a few educational activities and a ride on the elevator to view the construction on the third floor, everyone shared a lunch of pizza and juice boxes.

The event was a great way to share our passion for what we do with our children and introduce them to the concept of money having multiple purposes. The best path to a secure financial future is to start early. For teaching kids of all ages about money we recommend the following resources:
